Vanity is a Goth. She has naturally pale skin with an almost marble effect. Her features are soft, and lovely, and could be angelic, but Vanity doesn't really do angelic. She has a stud piercing just under her lip (taken out during school hours), five piercing in each ear, and numerous tattoos. Her natural hair is raven black, but Vanity likes to streak it with different colours, currently, her chosen colours are red and purple. She'll wear pretty much anything from leather to lace to snappy little black tee shirts with witty slogans on.

Vanity is bouncy bubble of out there fun. She has very little limits, and is extremely flexible and open minded. She's up for practically anything you can through at her, and not afraid to experiment with the darker side of nature. Strange things fascinate her, things that others might find disturbing, like serial killers, how bodies decompose. Yet on the other hand, Vanity loves plants and watching things grow. She has a large collection of big leafy plants in her room. Vanity is also fascinated by bugs. She just loves them. She's the type of girl you're either shocked by, disgusted by, or just don't really know what to do with her. Vanity, despite all her weirdness, is pretty easy to get along with.

Vanity is a witch, so her strengths lie in creating magic. She can create her own spells, mixing and matching herbs which she has an extensive knowledge of. Her best spells are love potions, which she sometimes sells for a neat little profit. Vanity doesn't like being slow or bored, and can usually always find something to keep herself occupied. She can also find something to like about everyone.

Vanity is a lot to take. Her out there-ness and obsessions with weird things tend to push people away and freak them out, she tries to pretend that she doesn't care, but really she does, and it hurts her (even though she would never ever admit it) that people can be so stuck up and shallow as thinking that appearances are everything. Vanity breezes through things without really stopping to think about them a lot of the time, unless its one of her obsessions, which tend to occupy her mind. A lot.

Vanity knew she was a witch from the moment she was born. She was trained in the art of magic from as long as she could remember. She never really liked "girl stuff" when she was growing up, her books would be ghost stories, the few dolls she did have always had their nails and lips painted black, or limbs twisted and broken. Vanity fell into a small goth crowd in her early teens. Her parents hoped it would be a phase she would fall out of, but it doesn't seem to be happening any time soon.
