Ryan is attractive and shameless about it. He's a little on the short side, standing at 5'8. His hair is a natural sandy blond with a deliberate careless look to it, like he just got out of bed and ran his fingers through and that's it. Ryan can be quite vain, particularly when it comes to his looks, and makes a deliberate effort in looking careless and attractive and probably has more hair and skin and shower product than most girls. Ryan has clear blue eyes and a winning smile that can be equally charming and sexy to cheeky and naughty. His complexion is tanned and healthy. His dress sense is casual, he's a t-shirt and jeans guy.

Ryan is cheerful try anything once guy. He likes being busy at loads of different things and having lots of different people around. Lots of things to do keep him from thinking, and thinking isn't something he likes to do. Unless its school work. He does actually like school work. Ryan is a bit of a know it all, and has a surprisingly large knowledge of mainly useless information he loves spurting off. He thinks its cute and endearing and makes him sound smart. He's a terrible flirt and has crushes all the time on different girls. He bounces from relationship to relationship never settling on anything deeper than maybe a month at the most.

Ryan has always been naturally smart, he's also always been extremely good at remembering things, his memory is almost photographic. He's an avid reader of anything from Shakespeare to comic books giving him a wide range of knowledge and topics. He's very creative and flexible, and loves challenges of both the physical and mental type. He prefers much more to draw on personality strengths and academic skills than physical. While he is gifted with enhanced speed and strength that all shapeshifters have, he does do some sporty activities to keep himself fit.

Ryan buries himself in stuff to avoid dealing with things. He hates himself for not being there to help his brother and sister when the hunters came to their home, hates having to think about it and harbours a deep guilt because of it. He throws himself into many different things to forget and also hides a deep fear that because he wasn't there karma will one day get her revenge. Because of this he takes on a lot of stuff to do at a time to avoid thinking about anything personal. He's worried that if faced with hunters again he will freeze up and not be able to do anything constructive and useful other than insulting them into going away with clever irritating wit.

Ryan grew up in a relatively normal happy family with his twin brother and older sister. He enjoyed the privileges of a wealthy family, didn't mind working for things he wanted. He was always a popular and activity loving boy. A bit more on the creative side than sporty, and was a little on the vain side, which earned him plenty of teasing, but nothing Ryan couldn't shake off.

Everything was pretty great until one week when he was on a camping trip with some friends tragedy chose that time to attack his family. He received an urgent call informing him of deaths of his parents and sister. Stunned, he immediately went home, but for the first time had really no idea on how to offer any sort of comfort to his twin other than just being therefore him. Ryan never forgave himself for not being there or able to help.
