HUMAN PROFILE Name: Olivia Adia McLachlan
Personality: Olivia's personality can be summed up in one word - Bipolar. She can be pleasant as pie one moment, but within an hour become a ball of anger and pain. She became bi-polar soon after the traumatic incident of her mothers murder. On one side of the coin she is a quiet, artistic, and intellectual person. She is a skilled musician, an outstanding artist, and she rarely ever falls below on "A" grade. She tries her hardest to be nice to others, and to think the best of people. She'll do this by offering her note in class, talking about music, and making chit chat with people who actually speak to her first. This positive side of Olivia is charming and appealing, but her darker side almost always guarantees she looses all her hard work. On the other she has a very dark personality full of anger, pain, and sometimes violence. Olivia's journal is one of her major outlets for her anger and pain. The drawings hidden away in her sacred journal often depict dark feelings, death, and violence. She thinks that by drawing those feelings, she can suppress them on paper and not loose control of herself. But Drawing and playing music can't always stop her aggressions. She has been known to get into fights when she reaches her boiling point; fights which usually lead to someone getting hurt. Appearance: Olivia has pure white, flawless skin. Her lips are light blush pink color, and her eyes are a deep evergreen. She has long, straight black hair reaches to the middle of her back. If students could look past her complex personality, she would probably have the boys hanging off of her. Her clothing is quite eccentric; often having a dark gothic tone. The colors of clothing are prominently black, but she often has accents of red or hot pink on as well. She always wears a silver antique locket beneath her clothing, inside there is a picture of her and her mother. This piece of jewelry is never removed from her body. Olivia has three tattoos; the Latin text "Alis volat propiis" (She flies with her own wings) is on the underside of her left wrist. The second is the symbol for the Bellmont family on her right shoulder blade, while the third tattoo is star on her left toe. Strengths: Olivia is extremely intelligent, and has a very artistic mind. She is a skilled pianist and vocalist; She can play anything by ear, but cannot read read music. Her art is amazing, original, and very dark at times. Art and music are two of her major outlets she uses to control herself. She is also on the path to be come a silent and deadly hunter. She is extremely physically fit, and is very well trained in the art of tracking, investigating, and hunting. She is is known for having a deadly accuracy since she began her training; she took naturally to the use of throwing knives, wood arrows...and the hunters staple tool, a stake. Weaknesses: Olivia's main weakness lies with her psychological problems. Her Bi-Polar disorder has been the reason she hasn't even had a true friend, let alone love anyone. When she does make friends she ends up pushing them away out of fear; she believes that because of her being a hunter they may become victims or targets. She regrets loosing them, but usually feels it's the best for everyone. Besides her psychological condition, She also suffers from severe nightmares. Most of them are extremely violent and frightening visions from her past, or her fears of the future. They often wake her up at night, leaving her breathless and unable to fall back asleep. History: Olivia had a very troubled childhood in her hometown in Norther California; it wasn't easy growing up in a family of Hunters. Her father was often away from home out tracking down Vampires and her mother was usually evaluating evidence against vampires. The only real interaction she had with her mother was her piano lessons. But her broken home turned into shattered shards of glass one fateful evening. While she was walking home with her mother from a trip to a nearby park, her mother noticed someone following. Her mother could tell by the smell who it was, and it silently frightened her. She quickly grabbed Olivia and ran towards their home in a wooded area...but the footsteps were growing closer. Before they could reach the driveway, a vampire lunged at Olivia and grabbed her by the neck to pull her away. Her mother quickly fought to swipe her back, but instead angered the vampire for interfering with his dinner. He dropped Olivia and threw her mother violently into a nearby tree and violently drank her dry in front of 6 year-old Olivia who was frozen with fear. By the time he had finished, two nearby hunters were approaching. The vampire looked at Olivia, and told her he would return for her someday before disappearing into the woods. Olivia would never be able to forget his haunting blue eyes, his tall aristocratic demeanor, or his face. The death of her mother drove her father insane, He blamed himself for the attack on his wife and child. He became delusional and paranoid that the vampires were coming for him next. He locked Olivia in her room for days at a time citing that it was for her own safety. His Paranoia got to the point were Vincent Avonworth, a prominent member of the Bellmont family, moved into the home to care for Olivia and to control her father. Because of all the trauma and stress, Olivia didn't speak for almost a year after the incident. She developed a bi-polar disorder soon after. After the one year anniversary of her mothers death, her dad was finally committed to an insane asylum. At this point she finally opened up to Vincent when she realized he was all she had left. He treated Olivia like she was his own child, and began to seek the best for her in every way possible. He moved her into his home in central San Fransisco, hoping that a fresh start would help her recover. At age ten he offered her the choice, to become a hunter or not. She immediately decided to hunt. The other prominent Bellmont Hunters were not pleased with Vincent's decision to train the girl; they believed her to be a liability. But nobody had dared to say anything against Vincent, and their opinions would soon change. For the first few years she was home schooled and trained with a few other young hunters. They were taught the history of the night world, along with the art of tracking and hunting vampires. Everyone, even Vincent himself was surprised that Olivia quickly become a serious, strong huntress in the making. She excelled in deductions skills, physical training, and had a natural deadly aim with any weapon she was handed. But even with the education he provided, Vincent believed that her training should also include a strong public education, so he enrolled in a private school. Unfortunately she went though several private schools, and often had a major incident that caused her to leave or be expelled. Vincent thought his Alma Matter may be a good choice, so he pulled a favor from a local Harman and enrolled her at Ashwood Academy. |
