Personality: A bit of a contradiction, Niko is like two sides of one coin.Nikolas is arrogant. He knows he's good looking, he knows he's smart, he knows he's strong. His ego isn't the largest in the world, but it certainly is up there. However, despite this is he very well-liked. It's as if his confidence is overlooked because he is an all-around nice guy. He's incredibly smart and very charming, able to talk his way out of anything. He's playful and loves to tease people. He enjoys seeing how much he can push their buttons before they react. Despite his confident nature, he has a soft vulnerable side. This is mainly directed towards girls, since he is extremely protective and fond of his little sister, so he developed a sort of 'knight in shining armor' complex. Still, he is a huge flirt, a ladies man of sorts, and has never been attached to a girl. Though he does his best not to hurt anyone or lead them on. Of course, as a teenage boy, this doesn't always work out. Like his sister, he's fiercely protective of those he cares for, and has quite a temper. While he is well-liked and popular, he does not use this for his own gain. At least, he tries not to. He has a close circle of friends, the ones that he truly trusts, and he sticks by them no matter what.

Appearance: The best description for Niko is "golden boy." He has the clean cut good looks that come with most popular football players. Blessed with soft golden locks most girls would kill for, and kill to touch, he keeps it styled in a casual "sex hair" sort of style that doesn't make him look unkempt. His eyes are a deep sapphire blue and completely mesmerizing. If one stares hard enough, they can see the flecks of green that are scattered throughout his eyes. Considering his athletic nature, it is no surprise that Niko is blessed with an extremely fit body. All lean muscles and golden skin. His features are finely chisled, giving him the appearance of a model rather than a normal teenager. He stands at 6' roughly, which is helpful when playing sports. He dresses casually, as boys tend to do, though he never looks disheveled or out of sorts. It's more of a bad boy kind of dress.

Strengths: His main strengths lie in his abilities as a shifter. Increased speed and strength are on the top of the list, and these help a lot in the sports he loves to play. Being a good and charming young man is also one of his biggest strengths. It's hard not to like him despite how arrogant he is. He's smart, and studies just as hard as he plays. Even if he tries to play it off like he does not care all that much.

Weaknesses: Girls. He's a tremendous flirt, and often can unwilling hurt feelings on account of it. He also has a bad, or good, habit of helping any girl that he feels needs it. Which can make some girls perceive him as a pushover and use such knowledge against him. His arrogance is also a big problem, since some people are not able to see past it. He has a temper, but is usually able to control it with the help of his sister. Perhaps the biggest weakness he has is Mikayla, since he would do anything for her.

History: Nikolas was born in Ireland, the oldest child to a family of shifters. As he grew, he became extremely close with his younger sister. The two bonded as a way to deal with the problems that they tried to ignore their parents having. Nikolas was a hit in school. He was a golden boy, a good athlete, a good student. He had friends, a lot of them, and was an all around popular guy. He and his sister were a double threat. Both great kids, both great athletes. This continued until just before his junior year. That's when they're parents finally decided to split up. Nikolas was not as surprised as his sister, since he had figured it was going to happen eventually.

The kids were moved to America with their mother. He was transferred to Ashwood, and he settled into the school in much the same manner as he'd settled into his own school. Unlike Mikayla, he suffered no personality changes, though he is a lot nicer to people in his new environment. Especially the girls.
