Personality: Nathan is one of those guys who is popular for a good reason. He's talented and pretty smart, a hard working student who is blind to the social divide that the Night World has built. Nate is likable with a very passive attitude, which can also be considered a weakness. He's not aggressive or forceful, but actually very laid back and relaxed about everything. Why put the effort into fighting where there are so many other things you can put that energy in? He gets along with most of the student body and while his grades don't put him on the top of the class, he's a social butterfly and a must-have for any party in need of a DJ. He tries not to dwell on the future because it feels so far away, even though it is his senior year.

Appearance: Nate is tall but not quite basketball tall, even though he plays the sport. He stands at five foot and eleven inches, his body is lean and built for any guy to envy. His muscles are toned to perfection, even without flexing you can see the curve of the muscle. Being of African American birth, his skin is a coffee color with cream, his facial features are handsome and not the cliche that most of Ashwood students have. His personality shines clearly in his face, which makes him a magnet for attention not only for his physical attractiveness. He keeps his hair cut very short but not bald, it's color a dark black color. His eyes are also black, but a soft tone and warm with energy and friendliness. He likes to wear clothing that is comfortable which includes sweats. He tries to break free of the stereotypes that his skin color may lead some to assume he is.

Strengths: When it comes to music, he's got a real talent for it. But not in a conventional way. While yes, he can sing like the super star of a gospel choir, he loves to take songs that already exist and blend them, morph them into something new. He considers himself innovative and he really is. He is also a skilled dancer with a rhythm that cannot be denied, he's a favorite for any dance or party because he knows how to have a great time. He's also a great guy which helps him to make friends easier and fit in. As a vampire at night his true abilities shine as he can see as clearly as day in the pitch black, his healing his advanced and all his senses are enhanced. His speed is increased as well as his strength, all of which he uses to allow himself to excel in sports.

Weaknesses: Like any vampire, fire and woodend stakes are definitely not his friends, and during the daylight hours he is no where near his full strength. He is generally very passive and will not fight if he has to. He'll step back from an argument if the other person becomes aggressive and some consider him pretty wussy in that aspect. He's a perfectionist with his music and even though others may find wha the creates to be superb, he is constantly putting himself down and feeling it's never good enough. He has ADD so him being distracted is more than easy if he finds the subject remotely boring. He will sometimes have small conversations in his head and say things that others find weird, but if they were following his same train of thought would have found he made perfect sense.

History: Nate has lived a very unspectacular life in the sense that nothing major has happened. He's the youngest of four children and was born on Graves Island. Most of his family is based out of New England so he's seen very little of the world outside there, but New York City is diverse enough for him to travel there constantly during school breaks. He found a passion for the DJing side of music and made friends with Atticus Logan and his friends in The Chosen, doing remixes for them. He's always been a bright and intelligent boy though he had a bit of ADD so he could be somewhat disruptive during class.

He's never had a problem being a vampire or drinking from the juice boxes, but he doesn't feel comfortable drinking from actual humans. The first (and only) time he ever did it was with a girl he liked in middle school and she had been wearing a very heavy perfume so it ruined the whole experience for him. He is unmotivated with his life, but has already been approached by Juliard for his dancing and musical abilities. He's procrastinating getting back to them.
