Matt used to be the geekiest of the geek. But somehow during the school year the food intake caused him to put weight onto his skeletal looks and with the recent makeover via Atticus Logan and Ashlee Walker, he's hardly recognizable. He's filled out nicely and with a fresh hair cut and a new wardrobe, it's hard to believe he's the same nerd that came to the school at the beginning of the school year. He's got a fit body and naturally handsome features that just needed a bit of refining. His clothing style is all nice and brand name, he's made use of his mother's credit card and he looks far more posh than before.

Dork. Geek. Nerd. Loser. Say whichever you wish, most have been used as ways to describe Matt and though he's not happy about it, he doesn't argue back. He's spineless and has a very weak will, usually falling over himself and a bit klutz as well. He can't talk to girls without doing something horrendously embarrassing and spends most of his time watching Star Trek, practicing his Jedi skills with his light saber or preparing a new game for his Dungeons & Dragons friends. He's highly intelligent, though if he were to live on the streets he might not last a week. He drinks more coffee than he should and has his nose in a book when he's outside of his dorm room. Matt is very observant and notices many things that other people don't. He doesn't stick up for himself at all and usually takes the verbal beating silently. This is because the last time he tried to defend himself his head got dunked in a toilet. The toilet hadn't been flushed. With his friends and fellow nerds, he's sort of a guru for nerd knowledge and known to be an awesome Dungeon Master for D&D.

Highly intelligent and very observant. Seeing that he isn't in the center of the spotlight (unless of course he's being teased), Matt is on the outside and looking in...and watching everyone carefully. He is on his way to a full ride from MIT. He's a computer whiz and is often recruited to fix other student's computers. He's got a very vivid imagination and has the potentional to become a great writer, though he often fears about the critcism his writing may have.

He used to be human and now he's a vampire. A downfall already and a new vampire at that. Matt was made illegally too! The sun hurts his eyes, he's still sensitive to his cravings for blood and has little control over his own strength and new found abilities. He's still a bit of a geek though and tends to continue to get incredibly nervous around the "beautiful" people, but would do anything for them to like him.

Matthew grew up in a loving home, but even as a young age showed he was very smart. But he had always been rather small for his age and became the butt of many a joke and became a bank for many bullies. Where he excelled at school, socially he lacked, though he did find friendship in others like himself.

He ended up being able to transfer to Ashwood Academy after presenting a highly impressive academic record. He wanted to get away from the people at home and he got it when Ashwood accepted him. Though he is still teased here, it is not as severe as it was before. But that was until he met Atticus Logan and Ashlee Walker. The two of them changed his life by giving him a makeover and shortly after their job was complete, he met his soulmate in Susie Dashwood. Susie turned Matt into a vampire, per his request, and only finished the change not long ago. He's still learning to keep his mouth shut about the Night World.
