Personality: On the outside, Luke appears to be your typical teenage boy. He has a playful attitude, and enjoys pushing the limits of those around him. He has a temper, and is not so great at controlling it all the time. Incredibly smart, he knows how to work his way around people so they only see what he wants them to see. He harbors deep hatred for hunters, and definitely discriminates without taking time to investigate. Inside, he's still a bit broken. The tragedies of his past haunt him, filling him with inner turmoil and guilt. The only person he truly trusts is his twin, who is all he has left in the world as far as he's concerned. Despite this pain, he tries to be normal all the time again. He comes off as mysterious and quiet to those who can't bring out his nicer nature. His one weakness is girls, though he tries to avoid dating and relationships at all costs. Flirting used to be a big part of him, and he's slowly getting back into that. His emotions are shut off, and most of what people see is an act.

Appearance: In a word, Luke is hot. This is something he is confident in, but not in the sickening way. His hair is cut short, usually styled in a spiked sort of way, and a light sandy brown color. His face is angular and rugged, like someone you would expect to see in a GQ magazine. The outdoors edition. He has bright, clear green eyes. Similiar to the color of celery, and slightly gem-like. A lot of girls swoon over those eyes. His lips are perfectly kissable, but usually set in a serious look. Though he possesses a wonderful rougish grin that he uses to his advantage. Usually he leaves a fine dusting of stubble, preferring the not-so-polished look. He stands at around 6'1", with a wonderfully athletic body. Chisled abs, strong arms, the works. It's clear this boy is not unaccustomed to getting his hands dirty. When it comes to clothes, like most boys his age he is not one for fashion. Though he prefers not to look like he dressed himself in the dark, so he won't ever look too dishevled.

Strengths: First and foremost is his strength. As a shifter, he is naturally stronger and faster than humans. Still, Luke has taken great time and effort to hone this natural ability into something quite dangerous. He knows how to fight, having taught himself various styles and how to use a few weapons. Such as knives and bows of any sort. Aside from that, he is intelligent. Always calculating, always figuring out his next move in careful steps. Very athletic, he participates in many sports, and is naturally good at them. He is fierce when it comes to those close to him, and people are wise enough not to mess with him or his. A friendly guy, or trying to be again, Luke is generally well-liked. He's charismatic, giving off a mysterious aura that people find alluring. When it comes to girls, they tend to flock to him, though he tries to avoid emotions at all costs.

Weaknesses: His temper is his biggest problem, as he often has trouble controlling it. Despite his playful nature, if the issue ignites his more feral side, you'd best watch out as he can be quite dangerous. Emotionally, he tries to be shut off from everyone save for his brother. No one knows the real him, and he wants to keep it that way. His past haunts him daily, though he's slowly getting over it. There are times when he just wants to go in his room and hide, as he feels entirely responsible for what happened. He carries the weight of the world on his shoulders, and getting him to forget that is hard. Silver is naturally a big cause for concern, and his discrimination towards hunters is irrational. He can be judgemental when it concerns them, and just seeing one is enough to ignite his anger.

History: Lucas had a normal life for the most part as he was growing up. He had nice parents, a loving and supportive older sister, and a twin brother he knew he could always count on. The family was wealthy, so the kids were priveleged in all aspects. Though not spoiled, since his parents never believed in that sort of thing. They owned a youth center, helping young girls who had no family or friends to speak of. It was a widely respected endeavor, and Luke always looked up to his parents. Even when he discovered they were changing young girls into shifters like themselves. He didn't think anything of it, figuring the girls wanted the change.

It wasn't long after he discovered this information that his happy little world came crashing down around him. Of course he had heard of the Grimm hunters, but he had always been taught to accept people and since none of them had bothered him or his, he didn't think much of them. Until a pair of them found their way to his family. Apparently what his parents were doing was not entirely on the up-and-up. Or so they believed. The man and his daughter came to their house looking for their parents, but only he and his sister was there. She told him to hide, and having never questioned an order given to him by his sister, he obeyed. As if his obedience was not enough, she locked him inside to ensure he would stay there. Something he regrets to this day. The interrogation of his sister led to her death, and Luke was witness to the entire thing. Once they had gone, Luke was in a state of shock. This was only magnified when later that same day he heard that his parents had been killed. The police told him it was an accident, but he knew better.

After that, nothing was the same for Lucas. He and his brother received everything in their parents' will. With no living relatives that they knew of, they were left in the care of a nanny. Since they still had enough to attend school, and their parents were alumni, they didn't have to leave Ashwood. It didn't matter, though, since he was now a shell of who he'd once been. Though the one saving grace, in his mind, is that no one knows what their parents did. Even if he would never shun them, he knows others will not share the sentiment.
