Personality: Jared is your typical teenage jock on the fast track to success. While he's average in intelligence, he excels in sports and physical activity, proving himself to be more of a hands on person. He's got a college humor personality where he laughs a lot at dirty jokes and stupid things. He's hot tempered and gets mad over little things that just happen to tick him off. Because his father is a bit of a bully to him, he bullies others in the process to make himself feel like more of a man. He's the sort of guy at a party that will do a beer chugging contest or end up crushing cans against his forehead. His mind works very simply and he doesn't beat around the bush for things. His straight forward with what he thinks and doesn't believe in the concept of mind games. He lives and breathes football, though he is active in various other sports.

Appearance: Jared is a natural redhead, a carrot orange color, sometimes during the summer it gets light enough it looks almost blond. He is by no means what one would think of the word 'attractive' upon looking at him. He has a sharp nose with large nostrils, a unique bone structure and his lips are small on his face. He stands at about six feet and one inch, a little over two hundred pounds in weight. While he isn't wide or broad, he is still built like a football player. His arms arm thick and beefy, much like his chest. He has a bit of hair on his belly around his belly button and like any regular boy, has hairy legs. Jared is not a guy who has a lot of girls that like him, but he isn't one that they'd turn down if he ever asked them out.

Strengths: He's agile and strong, sometimes interpreted as being too strong (only because he doesn't have a good comprehension of controlling his strength). On the field he is a force to reckon with and he strikes fear into the hearts of his opponents. They don't call him 'Blitzkrieg' for nothing. Having a father who is so into his son playing sports, Jared is good at tactical manuvers though not many people listen to him, thinking he's being reckless, when in reality he's effective and thorough. He's not a nice guy per say, but more along the lines of, if you catch him in a good mood, he's pretty cool about things.

Weaknesses: Jared has a hard time controlling his own strength and tends to be more rough than he wants to be. Because of this, his girlfriends tend to complain that he's too forceful. At school he's considered a bully by a number of geeks and nerds, while most of the teachers will overlook his aggressive behavior. He's true to his red hair by being hot tempered, but that's because his dad is extremely dominant, so Jared feels he needs to compensate by being one to push people around himself. He carries a lot of frustration inside and doesn't use words to express it, only his fists. Around his father he's extremely submissive and doesn't ever talk back, his father putting him in line with a look.

History: His dad was a football player in the NFL that got injured early on in his college years and it was such a severe injury, that even with his shifter healing, he couldn't just go back to playing. They could say it was a miracle, but there are some things that you can't pass off as that. He instead went into coaching and made himself a name there. He married his high school sweetheart, he had attended Ashwood and was one of their finest players, then settled back in Winthrop. Jared was the first born and from a young age his father made sure he was actively engaged in sports. Being a shifter, it came naturally and his father signed up for every Little League sport you could think of. Jared did fairly well in school, particularly in Math and Statistics, but he only used that when it came to figuring out his batting averages and such. By the time he got into high school, it was a given that he would be playing football.

He tried out for all the teams and has played actively through the years. Because of who his father is and he follows his father's commands, because he knows his dad only thinks it's for the best. Though it's more like his father is trying to fulfill his own dreams through his son. Jared goes along with it and plays as a line backer for the Ashwood varsity, and was scouted at the big Homecoming game to play for Louisiana State University.
