Gisele is has a lovely sweetness to her, like a candy treat. She's got lovely healthy skin without a flaw, that's as soft to touch like a rose petal against your skin. Her features are elfin, her eyes are doe shaped and a beautiful deep chestnut brown in colour. She is blessed with high cheekbones, and a pretty, friendly smile, a delicious treat when shown in full. Gisele has shoulder length glossy brown hair parted at the right of her head so it falls down, framing either side of her face, resting midway down her back. Her figure on the petite side, she doesn't have much of a chest, but has nicely shaped hips and legs.

Gisele is a sweet girl, but a little on the shy side. She was raised to be very polite and well mannered, to be aware of her place in society. Like her older brother she's extremely intelligent, and even skipped 4th grade, and offers volunteer tutoring for those in need of study help. Gisele tries to be nice to everyone, no matter what the species, she doesn't like the class divides set out so clearly. She believes everyone should be equal and treated as such. But she keeps her mouth shut of this opinion. Especially with the presence of her older brother around her so much. While Gisele knows he's only looking out for her, his protectiveness is sometimes very…overbearing to her. She knows he means well, but sometimes finds the lengths he's willing to go to protect her quite scary. She feels like he doesn't understand she's perfectly capable of living her own life and doing a good job of it if Van would give her the chance to do so. But of course, she never says anything to him.

Gisele is extremely intelligent, she skipped a grade in elementary school since she was always the best in the class and nothing seemed challenging to her so she was moved ahead to exercise her mind. She's a quick thinker when it comes to academic subjects and has a good eye for picking out small details. While she doesn't quite have a photographic memory, she has a very good memory for recalling facts, figures and dates. She's good at helping other students learn things, trying to make studying more fun than an evil necessity. Gisele is also quite energetic and athletic. She did dance for many years, mainly ballet, her dream as a child to star in Swan Lake. She keeps up her dancing and has signed up for dance club and to tie her dancing skills in with an athletic activity has signed up for cheerleading to give her somewhere to be social as well. Gisele has always found creative things like art, writing and music fascinating and while not too brilliant at any of them, she's always looking to improve in these areas and has volunteered to write for the school paper, mainly focusing on academic and sports news.

Gisele is very sheltered and protected. She has lots of opinions, but never voices them to anyone as she's afraid of what will happen to her if she does so. As much as she'd like to try dating, she's always afraid of what her brother will do to anyone whom approaches her with an interest that isn't academic. This makes her very frustrated, and keeping everything in makes her feel like she's a ticking time bomb that could explode at any minute. It drives her nuts that she can't vent these frustrations. Gisele feels like she's always living up to someone's expectations of her and no one cares about what she wants.

Gisele grew up with a very rich lamia family, schooled from a young age in the ways of the Night World and how to behave like a proper female vampire should act. Despite being taught like her mother she had to find a good rich husband from a suitable family, Gisele had dreams of being a ballerina, which while she was a child her parents tolerated, letting her attend dance lessons, but as long as she understood it was just a past time, a hobby. Gisele did discover she was very skilled academically which made her parents proud, especially when she skipped a grade in school, allowing her to attend the same private exclusive school as her older brother.

Attending Ashwood Gisele discovered her soulmate in a human boy Rory Doughtery. Knowing of course that falling in love with a human was forbidden by Night World law but unable to deny her feelings for her soulmate they saw each other in secret until Van found out, forcing Giselle to choose between him or Rory. Gisele chose her soulmate. Her brother turned his back on her and refuses now to even acknowledge her. Gisele has had some difficulty accepting this, and coping with a soulmate as she has never really had any sort of long term relationship before. She’s been jealous of his friends and acted out.

However, eventually Gisele pulled herself together realising what having a soulmate means. Due to recent events at the school recently Rory has agreed to let her change him so the two of them can be together forever.
