VAMPIRE PROFILE Name: Evander Troy
Personality: Evander likes to keep himself separate professionally speaking, which means he remains mostly mysterious to just about everyone. He has a cool exterior that easily blends him in with the students, most don't notice him as a teacher when he walks by. He can be your best friend, worst enemy, or perhaps the cool guy who gets only you. Evander can manipulate even the best of minds by his knowledge of how people work, react, and feel. He doesn't like to use his abilities for evil, but sometimes even the most angsty heroes have to do their worst and he accepts that with a calm understanding. Appearance: He has a nicely sculpted body for his tall frame and shockingly green olive eyes. His face is chiseled naturally by traditionally handsome means. Having been turned when he was eighteen he has a hard time not looking his age, and so he often takes advantage of that. When working he usually wears relaxed and simple clothing like modern jeans and t-shirts worn in styles that reflect the current fashion scenes. This does mean at times he has looked very sloppy for a man who has various levels of degrees, even a doctorate. His hair is a medium brown that changes its tone and color by what he wears or the type of lighting he is under. Strengths: "Understanding" is Evander's biggest strength. Being a good guy who has lived a lot of lives and remembers all of them, he pretty much gets everything in life. He's accepted that his many lives as an old soul have been put to an end, but he is comfortable with who he is. Evander wants to help people and make sure that his short life is one of the last that the Night World can claim and attempt to ruin, thus turning his means for revenge into a happy light by doing so. Besides his understanding and acceptance he is also a very, very, intelligent man. When not working he is always reading and studying up on the latest finds the world has to offer. Weaknesses: He's actually kind of lonely and uses his psychology as a front for ever having a life of his own. His room is plain with simple bedding and a television that is hardly turned on. Everything is scheduled and planned and he lives day to day as any other day. He craves adventure as much as he does knowledge, but puts it in check because he knows he's needed. His new life as a vampire has been dedicated to helping others and is killing part of him, but he'll never admit to it. As a vampire he finds it hard to fulfill his thirst as he refuses to succumb to being savage and this will plague him with fits of mood swings and periods of mass hunger. History: Evander is an old soul turned vampire. He attended Ashwood over 15 years ago as a transfer student and was studied by the counseling staff for his unique past lives. One of which was entwined with Linden Redfern's past, who at the time was a prominent figure in the Night World. Things became political and caked with revenge. One of the professors at Ashwood wanted to get back at Linden. She forced Evander into blood exchanges and left him near death so that when Linden came he would kill him. Things went as planned. Evander came back as a vampire with the knowledge that Linden hadn't merely killed his soul mate, Petunia, many years before but had turned her into a vampire! She was still out there in the world and he tried to find her. Except that she had been changed during a time when Made Vampires were illegal and hunted and was going by different names. He turned his path knowing full well they would eventually cross each other. Evander dedicated part of his new found life not to revenge on the school that had turned him, but the humans who were helpless to know what was out there. He wanted to protect them and make the lives of the humans and young Night Worlders even, if not comforting. He trained all around the world in different courses of therapy and eventually got a job at the very school that had killed him quite literally. He has been there off and on for years as a Psychologist. |
