Personality: He is accepting, patient and open-minded. Light-heartedness allows Cody to live his life as if nothing will throw him off track. Since growing up in a small community he may seem a bit naïve at times but Cody tries hard to inform himself so that the next time he will know what you are talking about. Cody grew up with telepathy since he was a young boy so, he never knew any different. He thought it was normal. His telepathy is like second nature to him. Because he had telepathy at a young age his mind built up natural defences which still hold today and grows stronger. Cody grew up in the loving arms of his family and it shows because where his parents are serene, calm and tranquil he reflects all those attributes . Though while he is at ease with his abilities he knows when to take caution because there is the government to watch out for. He has accepted that his psychic abilities are here to stay and that the only way to gain control is to accept his responsibility. In this aspect he has tried to take certain classes for relaxation and concentration. Yoga and Tao Chi are helping him block out all the psychic interference.

Appearance: At first glance he gives off an innocent and peaceful hippy stature. He has long pale blonde hair that is slightly wavy and kept just a bit longer than his chin. His skin is an unmarred alabaster skin tone. He is slender, with a lean musculature, 5’8”. Growing up in a hippy community on Vancouver Island he has taken the wardrobe with him. Cody is fond of white embroidered tunics, floral button up shirts, jeans (sometimes ripped), khakis, loafers, and flip flops. He even adorns himself with lots of scarves, beaded jewellery, rings, bracelets. Plus his book bag is a dark brown suede with small bells.

Strengths: Can keep a secret and when told can take it to the grave you can trust him on that. Has enough power to know when vampires are mind meddling and most times vampiric powers are deflected. He has a strong sense of tranquility that when in close proximity you are affected by his peacefulness. As a friend you can count on him for support since it is what he grew up with. A community must look out for each other, right? Can be studious enough to get schoolwork out of the way so he has more time to himself.

Weaknesses: May suffer from migraines from the stress of handling his psychic abilities. He hasn’t mastered shielding when he is sleeping and this proves to be very hard for him. Has a hard time when it comes to dealing with mass chaos since there tends to be too many strong emotions. Like any human he has his race’s weaknesses. Sheer exhaustion breaks down his psychic abilities and it affects all those who are in close proximity. Cody was extremely sheltered while growing up so he may not even see things that other’s see.

History: Cody grew up in a tight knit hippy community on the West Coast of Vancouver Island where his parents owned a Spiritual Retreat. Here Cody was practically raised by the whole community since it was an extension of his family. It was the code of the town to look out for the community and stay by your family thru thick and thin. It was here that Maki discovered that thru meditation you could strengthen your psychic ability. His life was that of a normal hippy with not much out of the ordinary, in his eyes of course. Though while at a young age he may have had a psychic ability he also accepted the existence of Night Worlders though some how he knew it must be kept secret. Maybe there was a vampire in his community who emphasized the idea that shapeshifters and vampires should be kept a secret and he never questioned the idea. For why would you question such thing from an established elder in your community? It was probably the same vampire that had given Cody a precaution towards governments ideal of people with extraordinary talents. That same elder vampire helped him achieve a scholarship for Ashwood Academy and was extremely pleased that he would attend such a prestigious school. Even though Cody had never left his community before this would be a great start to looking at things at a different view.
