Personality: Manipulative, seductive, with a side of barbaric tendencies. Calum isn't your friend. Unless you can offer him something in return (body, blood, to name his two favorites) you are nothing to him. He's uncaring and only fronts his needs as desires and potential gains. He breathes wealth and sees life through the eyes of someone who is both supernaturally inclined to be better than you as well as mentally. He does not like authority or to be spoken to without use of eye contact. Underneath of it all he is cold and somber, alone, and bored. If he's not chasing a girl for her blood or her body he's taking his bored aggression out on humans and other weaklings.

Appearance: Handsome in the traditional way; artistic jawline that beats down to his manly chin, all of which are usually covered in subtle and sometimes sexy facial hair. Eyebrows that are black and pronounced to his dark brown hair with natural red highlights, although he usually shaves it down to almost nonexistent length. He has seaweed colored eyes that sometimes flash shades of purple or darker green. He always wears nice tailored-to-fit-only-him clothes. He has a tattoo of a black rose entwined on his family's crest on his right shoulder blade.

Strengths: Calum is skilled in manipulating by means of supernatural efforts. He can sometimes hardly turn off the ability to mesmerize humans with a simple glance, as he finds it both amusing and highly annoying, he will only half admit to liking it. He has great telepathy powers as well. Calum is a skilled fencer on top of it all. His voice, without the vampire talent, is also a strength. It is deep and sounds very serious and angry that it usually startles people simply by sound. He also knows how to turn on the charm and woo a girl into submission, winding her around his finger to play with.

Weaknesses: Things he can't have. He will drop all sense when it comes to getting something he wants but does not have - and this can become an instant problem when its of the female sort. Calum doesn't take no for an answer and doesn't see anything wrong with resorting to violence. He also is very melancholy beneath his hard exterior. Wood, even pencils, both him and along with fire can obviously kill him. He also has a weakness for blood, obviously, being a vampire who likes to drink it as much as possible.

History: The Gray family has been around for a very long time. They have entangled themselves into the Redfern Family tree and gathered enough money to be considered one of the higer families apart from that connection. The Gray's believe in old style Night World values and decorate their mansion, Graystone, in the most Gothic of ways possible. Calum was raised as a sort of socialite Prince in the Night World. He chose to live on campus at Ashwood to be amongst his peers to better understand them and toy around with the humans freely.
