Ayumi is slightly taller than the average height for a girl, standing at five feet and eight inches, all of her toned muscles and controlled almost to perfection. She looks top heavy when in reality her willow framed figure makes them look larger than they are. She plays sports actively so her body is in top condition. She blossomed into her womanly figure nicely, and her legs are one of her more notable features. Her personality shines through her face and she can be terribly cute. Her hair reaches barely past her shoulders and is a natural black color with waves. She normally wears her hair in some natural comfortable style. Most guys find her very attractive but she doesn't pay them any mind unless she happens to like them.

Sweet and endearing, Ayumi is hard not to like, she's very realistic and down to earth. She can be a little air-headed or flaky at times, usually when she's caught in the middle of a daydream but that is something that she can't really help. Ayumi generally gets along well with others, and is normally outgoing, wanting nothing else but to make her friends happy. She tries hard but would rather go out and play sports than study up for an English final. She is surprisingly optimistic and fits in with others well. She's a bit boyish though it comes off in a cute girly way. She can be a little boy crazy, but often keeps all of her crushes under wraps and hides her feelings for them expertly.

She's a shifter, so her strength comes in the form of brute strength and speed. She's very strong and she has a good sense of control over it. Her family prides itself on their shifter heritage so she is not ashamed of what she is, even if they aren't her biological parents. Her kind nature and bright outlook makes it easy for her to make friends, and she'll be a comfort to those who are in need of it. Ayumi doesn't make a point to be the life of the party, but does make a point to show kindness to others, firmly believing they'll do the same to her.

Silver is a no no and fire too, seeing that as a shifter it can kill her. Excessive blood loss would also do the trick. She can be a bimbo without meaning to and finds herself believing others when she knows better not to. When faced with objects of affection, Ayumi turns away and leaves, unsure of how to present herself in a normal fashion. She avoids them. Otherwise she's perfectly naturally around people and probably forgives people for things she probably shouldn't.

Ayumi was born in Japan and her parents left her on a street corner. A baby shifter, she was luckily taken in by a Night World orphanage there, and then adopted by an American shifter couple. They brought her to the States and while she knew her native tongue fluently, she always felt more comfortable speaking in English. Her parents eventually acquired property on Graves Island near Winthrop in the half built suburb community. When she was old enough she began attending Ashwood Academy and joined the soccer team. For a brief time she dated the captain of the football team but due to social pressures and her refusing to put out, despite his adamant confessions of love, the two called it quits.
