Personality: She is a vampire and she's not all that keen on hiding the fact. She's often in trouble - probation's - under control of the higher ups in the area. People tend to stay away from her - whether they know the reason or not. Arianna isn't a happy person. There's no getting around the feisty vampire unless you have something to offer her - like blood or a good game of hunter and prey. There are little to no glimpses of a soft bit of candy underneath her hard exterior. She's all trauma, violence, and wild hissy spits. Arianna will eternally be 17 years old and its a fact that controls her every action. Not just a bad girl complex, Ari has done it all, seen it all, and has no impulses for self forgiveness. She doesn't worry about consequence or morals - it's all trivial hoopla to her. You'll likely see her sitting in the back of class carving her name or some other absurdity into the school desk with a pocket knife. Kids joke around that shes a vampire and rumors of her sitting around at lunch eating bloody bits of meat circle the younger crowd... and how close they are to the truth.

Appearance: Golden blond hair cascades around her beautifully giving her the wow-worthy appearance of an Angel. It seems to shine and never a stray out of its curl, no bit of humidity bothers it, its a complete masterpiece no matter the many times she tries to shake it into cave woman styles. Her baby blue eyes are cold and show off every bit of her personality with just once glance. Her facial expressions combined with her beautiful locks make her look like a roaring actress of the early 1900s (Veronica Lake to be exact - one of the few human things she actually enjoys) and a single venomous glare could stop a person in their tracks. Almost all of her clothes, including her school uniform, are tattered and stained with blood, gore, and traces of things most people wouldn't dare guess. Her nails are almost always obnoxiously long and never painted, giving her claws when needed. All in all, Arianna Santa is actually quite stunning in a perfectly sensible supernatural sense.

Strengths: She's almost numb when it comes to punishment, she can crease pain away and take whatever is thrown at her. She's savage, and uses it to her advantage. Confident in her ability to do anything, she has a strong head and sense of awareness. She has no silly fears because of her immortality, nothing can spook her out of herself. She moves through life with an angry take, not caring about anything, feeling free to let out everything she wishes. She's blunt. She doesn't care about what anyone thinks. The rumors about her don't bother her. Plus she has all the cool vampire talents; Enhanced senses and the psychic ability to mess with a persons mind and mesmerizing a person with her stare.

Weaknesses: Ari has no friends. Anyone that she associates with is only for a brief time - for whatever benefit it may give her - and she has no problem using her temporary friends and will blackmail them at will to shut their mouths after she disposes of them. In the long run - shes a very misunderstood, alone, and tragic lifed girl. She's constantly getting into trouble, or fights - half the time she's never in classes because she's sitting in the office or thrown into detention. Her enhanced sense of smell often makes her moody as she'd really not smell half the things she can't avoid.

History: Arianna's mother was a Witch running from the Night World. So she and her siblings lived with their father most of their lives never knowing the chaotic life that was the Night World. It wasn't until Arianna was seventeen that her mother came banging on her window in the middle of the night that anything seemed out of the ordinary in her life... after that, everything changed.

Pearl took her children away from their safe home and into the depths of a different world. She had a son who was only 11 months younger than Arianna. His name was Ian and he was a talented Witch. She had got pregnant with him the first year she had taken off, promptly after Arianna's birth. She came back a year later and didn't leave for another two years before taking off for good. This was a soap opera that none of the Santa kids could wrap their minds around.

For three months they were on the run from some big bad guy who wanted to harm Pearl at any cost. Apparently he had been planning on using her children as a way to corner her. Arianna's older brother, Dezi, was furious. He couldn't comprehend the "Night World" and the fact that this woman - their mother - abandoned them and had another son before showing back up in their lives long enough to have Bianca and take off, yet again, and then to bring them into this mess? He took off and left, never to be seen or heard from again. Arianna tried to take care of her sister, Bianca, but things weren't so easy. Her younger sister had a tendency for wandering off.

One night when Pearl and Ian were hot in an argument and Bianca shrugged things off and snuck out. Arianna went after her and in the knick of time tossed her out of harms way. The big bad was a vampire who became frustrated with the fact his powers wouldn't work on either of them. He took Arianna, leaving Bianca bleeding to death in an alley.

The next part of Arianna's life was full of demented torture and umbering pain. Normally a vampires bite has magical and natural effects, but on Arianna who was blindly part witch, it had no effect. None of the fancy powers this vampire had to use would effect her - and so she was to pay for that fact. After weeks of umberable pain, torture, and abuse, Arianna awoke with a new theme on life. The thrust for violence. She killed the man who had done these things to her. Time passed quickly. Things were foggy and incoherent for months before Pearl and Ian found her. They had to lock her in a pit for weeks until the hunger made her so weak she couldn't do much... and slowly the detox of violence swelled out of her. But she didn't change too much. Just enough to walk, talk, and stand without wiping out anyone in her path.

With her mother close behind, her father and her siblings moved to the area and Arianna attended the rest of her sophomore year and then moved on to her junior year at Ashwood Academy. Her siblings are practicing Witches now and her father is desperately combing the country for her older brother, Dezi. Arianna doesn't get along with anyone but Bianca, who barely can stand to be near her. She hates Ian with a passion and blames all her problems on him.
