If you're old money, your family has an estate somewhere on the island, and it's most likely within half an hour of Ashwood Academy. When I say old money, I mean there's a high chance you're a vampire and your family has a good deal of wealth they've been sitting on for the past few of centuries.

As of yet there is only one house listed here. These homes will most likely be lived in by certain vampires who attend Ashwood or Witch families. Rhodes Manor

Situated on the mountainside and about a half hour drive from Ashwood Academy this lovely estate was constructed in the early 1800's by the Rhodes family. The home is truly a manor and large in size, more like a mansion that also fits as a double home. The Rhodes and Harmans tend to live in this house because of it's large size and the connection the two families have with each other. A lot of the Rhodes have married to each other or accepted to house some witch students who were uncomfortable staying in the school dorms. The house is surrounded by thick forest as well as a large black metal gate. The inside has over 50 bedrooms and there is hired help which keep it in order. If your character lives here the only thing to fret about is fighting with others over bathroom use.

Nightingale Manor

About a half hour drive from the school sits Nightingale manor. A mansion of sorts built originally in the days of the early settlers of Winthrop, it was added on and renovated over the next few centuries and is considered an historical monument of the island. It sits majestically on the side of Big Blue and still made entirely out of cobble stone. It has over fifty rooms and is completely surrounded by trees with only one road in and one road out. It is home to the Nightingale family, a lamia vampire family that has been on the island since its founding. An electrified gate surrounds the estate, the entire driveway is made of brick and the gardens that surround the immediate area have been publicized many times over.
