Student Information
Harvard? Carnagie Mellon? Yale? Columbia? Ivy League or just ones known for offering excellent education, these colleges will more than happily take in a student from Ashwood Academy. Ashwood Academy is not a school of geniuses persay, but a school with educational standards and offer the best that can be offered. Noted for their impressive English, Mathematics, and History departments, Ashwood is a private school that every students want to graduate from. However spaces in the school are limited and the tuition to pay is high.
It is not a public school (though natives of Winthrop automatically gain acceptance), but a private boarding school. Students are immersed in a high level education program, with small classroom settings and personal tutoring for free. The school also checks after the welfare of the students, not just phsyically but mentally, regular meetings with student counselors who help to support students. One of the most admired virtues of the school is the family environment it projects. Instead of seperate lunches, students and teachers eat in the same time period, as well as breakfast and dinners.
Ashwood Academy has, only in recent years, started to gain the main media attention. Articles have been written on it's excellent teaching methods, but even then, the school has kept admission very strict and hush hush. Even some of the brightest minds have been turned down, and surprisingly, no lawsuits have ever been filed against the school.
